1994

GIBIESSE was founded in 1994 for the production and assembly of electronic boards made with THT (Through Hole Terminal) and SMT (Surface Mount Technology) Technology and for the manufacture of assembled electronic equipment for the electromedical and industrial sectors.

It designs and produces, in particular, microprocessor logic and power boards that meet the safety regulations for electromedical machines, with high quality standards, thanks to the application of increasingly reliable and stringent production measures.

GIBIESSE is a business reality with completely Italian technology and with 30 years of board assembling experience behind, producing for the electromedical, oil and automotive sectors, as well as for industrial automation systems.

2006

In 2006 GIBIESSE successfully obtained its first quality certification (ISO 9001:2000). The first quality management system certification represents a fundamental step for the Company’s progress towards the accreditation of its high-quality standards.

The Management of GIBIESSE, in fact, deeply believes in the quality system and expresses its commitment to its development, conscious that the company’s mission is to guarantee the achievement of product requirements, the Customer Satisfaction and compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.

All company functions are involved to achieve continuous improvement of products and processes, satisfaction of the Customer and other interested parties, by reaching measurable objectives.

2007

Relocation of the new production site in Seriate.

In 2007 GIBIESSE moved from Pedrengo (still within the Bergamo area) to Seriate, in the new property of about 2000 square meters, responding to the new need of space requested by the latest technologically advanced machinery to be able to grow over the years.

2018

2018 marks another milestone in the GIBIESSE Quality Management System with the transition to the new ISO 9001:2015 Certification.

In fact, the support activity carried out by the entire company continues towards the Quality Policy, which consists in setting the general guidelines and objectives that the Management formalizes in a clear and understandable way, by submitting it to the various company levels, so that they can take actions for applying and achieving them.

To achieve this goal, GIBIESSE establishes and maintains a Quality Management System compliant with the requirements of the standard currently in force; perfectly integrated into the general management system of the Company.

2019

Since September 23, 2019 GIBIESSE has become part of the DP group.

DigitalPlatforms SpA (“DP”) is an completely Italian group founded in 2018. DP’s mission is to become the Italian player able to providing secure Internet of Things technologies to managers of critical infrastructures, in Italy and abroad.

The DP Group is currently composed of a parent company and five subsidiaries and employs 480 resources, including engineers, programmers, IT consultants, laboratory technicians, researchers, operating from sixteen offices or factories all based in Italy. The DP’s Production Value is approximately €80 million, costantly growing, generated for 80% by Italian Institutions and Companies, and for 20% by important foreign companies.

Currently, DP is one of the few Italian convergent operators concretely operating on its reference market, both in terms of commercial start-up and possession of certifications and authorizations.

In possession of the main security authorizations, DP collaborates with all the major Integrators and suppliers of Italian Defense platforms and is a federated company AIAD  (Italian Defense Companies Association). It is also a certified vendor at the Council of Europe and at NATO.

2021

During 2021, the acquisition process of El&Tec begins. El&Tec is a company in Milan with several years of experience in the assembly of electronic boards with SMT and THT technology, which ensures a production of 40K components/hour.

The Company’s main activities are: the technical support for the development of electronic products and systems, the complete product engineering through the definition of the production process, the production of masters for printed circuits and the creation of technical documentation necessary for production, with additional high-quality services such as efficient testing, as well as complete traceability of products and processes.

By a gradual increase in ownership shares, this process was completed on 12/31/2023, when the merger by incorporation of El&tec Srl into the parent company GIBIESSE Srl was finalized.

2023

On 12/31/2023 GIBIESSE acquires total control of El&tec.

The new Plant in Inzago becomes the Italian industrial hub for the production of high quality and reliable electronic boards.
